Experience a unique blend of spiritual nourishment and community connection as we embrace our diverse brothers and sisters in South Chicago neighborhood.
Christ Redeemed Church was established out of a genuine desire to help the people of the South Chicago community. The aim is to see this diverse community come together and thrive through Christ's love for God's glory. The church was founded by Danny Hampton, who had spent many years living, running errands and conducting business in South Chicago area. He wanted to provide a space where relationships could be fostered and people could come together to seek God.
Later, he met M. Nathan Jaques, a pastor of a Spanish-speaking church in the Pilsen community, and they prayed together about the possibility of starting a church in South Chicago. After years of prayer and assessment, they launched Christ Redeemer Church. It was a great example of a Spanish-speaking congregation planting an English-speaking church for the Glory of God.

I am Danny, a Navy Veteran hailing from Chicago's South Side. I take great pride in being a father to four wonderful adult children, and have pursued higher education at Northeastern Illinois University, DePaul, and currently at the University of Maryland Global Campus. My passion for spreading the Gospel of Christ has led me to create a podcast & Youtube Channel called "You Are Not Alone," which has touched the lives of many across the world. This work is a part of God's plan for me, and I am honored to be able to contribute to it in my community of South Chicago.
Join us as we establish a multiethnic church in the part of the city that is earnestly longing for the love of Christ.
